Every estate and restaurant in this valley pays a percentage to reach guests who are already standing at the gate. The booking platform, the ordering platform, the review platform: each takes a cut and, more expensively, keeps the guest relationship. You get the covers. They get the data and the permission to email.
The asset is the guest list
Software you own changes that arithmetic. A booking flow on your own domain, a tasting-room order that does not route through a third party, a wine club with renewals that run themselves and a mailing list that is yours. The commission saved is the obvious part. The list you build over three seasons is the part that compounds.
Wine is a domain we actually ship in
We build and operate Sommelio, our own wine app: photograph a bottle, get a verdict matched to a taste profile that learns from every confirmed match. Label recognition from a phone camera and tasting data that is inconsistent by nature are problems already solved once in production. That is a different conversation from a generic agency discovering the category on your budget.
Multi-language is not an afterthought here
Your guests arrive from Europe, the United States and increasingly from Asia. Language is planned into the content model from the first table rather than bolted on after a season of complaints. The same applies to a tasting menu that changes weekly and has to stay correct in five languages without a developer touching it.
The deal
- First Version (MVP) from $27,800, a full guest app for iPhone and Android from $83,300
- Multi-language and content editing included, no developer needed to change a menu
- Fixed price and scope in writing before the first line of code
