App developer for the United States

Hire an app developer for the US: a US company, a fixed price

A Wyoming LLC, a US-dollar contract and one accountable architect with 20+ years of experience, without the foreign-vendor paperwork. A fixed price per step.

Most US founders who look abroad for engineering talent trade one problem for three: a vendor in a foreign jurisdiction, a currency they do not invoice in, and a team they can only reach through an account manager. This is a different arrangement. The App Architect is a brand of DigitalFreedom Global LLC, a company registered in Wyoming. You contract with a US entity, in dollars, under US law.

A domestic contract, an international standard

The legal wrapper is American. The engineering is not offshore. You get twenty years of architecture experience, apps for iPhone, Mac and Android, and the systems behind them built to run for years rather than to survive a demo. If your product touches users in Europe, the data model is planned with GDPR in mind from the start, not retrofitted after your first enterprise customer asks for a DPA.

Built asynchronously, on purpose

Distributed work only fails when it pretends to be co-located. So this is not run as a standing meeting. The scope is written down before anything is built, progress lands in a log you can read whenever you look, and calls are booked by appointment. The person who answers your question is the person who wrote the code.

What you get

  • App Check $2,000, report in five business days, credited in full within 60 days
  • Fixed price and scope agreed in writing before each step
  • Market-ready app for iPhone and Android from one codebase from $83,300, macOS where it belongs natively
  • Full handover of code, cloud accounts, store listings and documentation
  • One architect, accountable end to end, no account manager in between

Who this is for

Companies without their own technical lead: operators replacing a process that still runs on paper, teams whose developer or agency is gone (see taking over an existing app), and suppliers whose customer has sent a security questionnaire (see the vendor security review). Teams with their own engineers bring me in for an architecture review or a single app. If you need thirty engineers, this is the wrong address. If you need one who has shipped and operated production software for two decades, it is the right one.

See what it costs: app development cost.

Price, contract and data

  • Every step has a fixed price, set in writing before work starts; extra scope is added only through a change order you approve in writing.
  • The code sits in your repository from day one; with each paid milestone, the rights to everything delivered up to that point pass to you. Third-party components and pre-existing tools keep their own licences.
  • For rescues and new builds, 90 days of free bug-fixing after launch, on top of the 12-month warranty under the Terms. Ongoing operation starts at $1,400 a month.
  • You contract with DigitalFreedom Global LLC, Wyoming, USA. All prices are net; the tax treatment is clarified before contract and stated in the offer.
  • Our infrastructure is in the United Kingdom and Europe. Where I process personal data on your behalf, we sign a data processing agreement. The provider overview on digitalfreedom.co.za lists the subprocessors, their locations and the contractual safeguards.

Common questions

Am I contracting with a US company?

Yes. The App Architect is a brand of DigitalFreedom Global LLC, a limited liability company registered in Sheridan, Wyoming. Your contract, your invoice and your payment stay domestic, in US dollars, under US law.

How do we coordinate?

Work runs asynchronously: a written scope, a shared board and a build log you can read whenever you look. Calls are arranged by appointment, and there are no stand-ups you have to attend.

What does it cost?

An App Check at $2,000 for an app you already have; a takeover from $10,500; a new First Version (MVP) from $27,800. Fixed price, agreed in writing before work starts, never an hourly rate.
